Queen Margaret College is Wellington’s leading independent girls’ school. We provide a world class education for girls from Year 1–13 and also have a co-educational Preschool and boarding facility onsite. Our students are empowered to live, learn and lead in our holistic environment, which provides ample opportunities in leadership, sport and cultural activities. Although our school is built on the values of Presbyterianism we welcome girls from all religions and backgrounds. We believe in the importance of girls’ education. Our College is small enough to ensure every girl is appreciated as an individual but sufficiently large enough to offer a full range of subjects, along with a range of sporting and cultural activities. As a school, we constantly challenge ourselves to ask, what impact we are having on our learners, how we are going and where to next. In 2018, we opened our dedicated boarding facility, Queen Margaret House, providing the only onsite accommodation for domestic and international young women wishing to study in Wellington.
