Torngat Metals' strategy is to provide a long-term supply of traceable and sustainably produced rare earth products to support the transition to a low carbon economy. Torngat Metals is pursuing end-to-end sustainability in its development of a rare earth mine in Northern Quebec. Globally, rare earths are under supplied. They are used in dozens of applications including catalysts, advanced metal alloys, lasers and many others. The fastest growing application of rare earths is for permanent magnets which are used in electric vehicle motors, motors of all types, wind turbines, consumer electronics, industrial robots and more.
