The worldwide SPAR organisation SPAR operates over 12700 SPAR stores in 48 countries on 4 continents and meets the needs of over 13.5 million consumers every day. The expansion of the organisation increased dramatically over the past twenty years and keeps growing. There are three important factors in the continued growth of this unique organisation of independent retailers and wholesalers. Firstly, we have great pride in the achievement of being the world's largest food store chain. Secondly, in SPAR we understand that it is our people who make the difference. Finally, we are passionate about meeting the real needs of our consumers and providing high food safety and quality. Three SPAR stores have started operating in Georgia since September 10, 2014 and will be aiming to reach 50 by end 2017.
