Through our Research First Initiative, you can start to perform research with an experienced faculty scientist in your freshman year and continue to gain invaluable experience and job training throughout your college career. Choose from a variety of innovative undergraduate and graduate programs to meet your needs and interests. Each of these options allows you to engage in original hands-on research and train on state-of-the-art instruments under faculty mentorship. The New Jersey Center for Science, Technology and Mathematics (NJCSTM) offers a five year combined bachelor’s/master’s scholarship program with two separate degree tracks: one in teacher Education and the other in Research.
