Sustainability is the foundation of our business. Forests - both plantations and natural vegetation - form part of the solution in the battle against climate change. Forico was established in September 2014 to manage a forest estate and forestry business purchased by a New Forests’ Investment Fund. Forico manages in excess of 173,000 hectares of land in Tasmania consisting of approximately 90,000 hectares of plantation grown for wood fibre production, and 77,000 hectares of natural vegetation maintained or enhanced for their conservation and biodiversity values.
