Bows for Strings was Founded by Nicolas Fyfield in 1998. What started as a home-based workshop servicing stringed instruments quickly evolved into the sale of new, second-hand and antique bowed instruments and accessories. Today, Bows for Strings can be found in its new home in Glen Waverley. featuring a beautiful showroom and playing space, and fully equipped workshop. Bows for Strings is known for its extensive range of new, second-hand and antique instruments for all levels of musician from the daring beginner to the accomplished professional. Through long-standing relationships with international instrument makers, Bows for Strings has proudly raised the quality of student level products available in Australia. Our workshop is known for the quality and care it gives to every set-up, repair and restoration. We take great pride in the standard of preparation of the instruments we provide, and believe this sets our instruments apart.
