Research and development laboratory focused on power electronics and power systems. GESEP has started in 2010 in Viçosa-MG, Brazil. Our main research center is located at Federal University of Viçosa. We present partnerships with researchers from institutions such as CEFET-MG, UFMG and Aalborg University. We also have developed some research projects with industry. Currently, GESEP presents 23 researches, which include Ph.D fellows, masters and bachelor students. This lab. is managed by Prof. Heverton Pereira and Prof. Allan Cupertino. Our main research interests are solar photovoltaic energy, next-generation PV inverters, battery energy storage systems, control of power electronic systems and modular multilevel converters.
