EWB India is a network of humanitarian engineers who offer sustainable solutions to problems of accessing water, sanitation, energy, health, and education to improve the quality of life for the average person. Engineers Without Borders has created a way to train engineering students in technical and nontechnical skills. The model of education that Engineers Without Borders uses is called service-learning, which consists of students getting experience by building infrastructure in struggling 3rd world communities.
