MELMANDALA was founded in 2008 by two partners involved with apiculture since 1977. It is located in the South Eastern part of the State o Minas Gerais, close to the limits with the states of Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo, close to natural reserve area of the federal Parque Nacional de Itatiaia and the natural state park of Papagaio of the state of Minas Gerais. Providing natural and healthy food is our motto. Our aim is offering differentiated and an intensive mono-floral honeys of a variety of Brazilian native plants. A diversity of collors, flavours and smells is a delicacy found in these honeys. This is just a start, considering that Brazil has the largest pasture for bees on the planet and an infinity of plants conditioning a variety of selected honeys still to be experienced.
