Catherine's is a safety-net health clinic offering medical care and more to at-risk people in and beyond northeast Grand Rapids, Michigan. Our primary service area includes the Creston and Belknap Lookout Neighborhoods and extends to surrounding areas. We offer health screening, family medicine, referrals, navigation services, health education and more in partnership with many service providers and others who share our passion for offering access and exceptional medical care to people with limited resources. Funding is through grants, charitable contributions and, to a lesser extent, fees for services through third party payers. We actively engage patients and prospective patients in health care decisions, assist and educate in moving toward more informed, healthier lifestyles, and offer opportunities for healthy activities. Services are provided through a combination of paid staff, many volunteers and AmeriCorps/VISTA members. We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization with an independent board of directors.
