We work closely with the real world of the industry so that our courses provide many opportunities for students to get involved with real engineering challenges, making things more fun for our students, and providing them with first-hand experience of what engineering is about. Our graduates leave us with the skills and knowledge that employers really want. Teaching and progression Students can select from the range of undergraduate course shown on the following pages. Initially, all these degrees follow a common series of modules which provide a broad view of the subject. Students will begin to specialise in their chosen field part-way through year two. Successful students graduating from The University of Nottingham will be awarded an accredited BEng degree. Some courses are also available as five-year Masters programmes (MEng). Students may be able to progress onto these courses providing all the standard course requirements are satisfied.
