The advantages of utilizing Sterling Brush Plating or Selective Plating process to repair damages are – 1) REPAIR CAN BE DONE AT-SITE or INSITU in the engine room or in your workshop SAVING COSTLY DOWNTIME. 2) Our repair process is MARINE CLASSIFICATION Approved by Lloyds of London and ABS. 3) These approvals stems from the fact that brush plating DO NOT generate high temperatures (maximum 70 degrees Celsius). 4) Tested bond strength of Sterling’s coating to steel at 128,000 psi to 132,000 psi or between 388N/mm² to 400N/mm². 5) When coating thickness required is less than 0.004” or 0.10mm, NO MACHINING WILL BE REQUIRED as we can deposit accurately.
