The Franco-Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry is present in Moscow since 1997. In 2006, the association joined the CCI France International Group, a worldwide network of 123 French Chambers in 92 countries with over 35,000 member companies. Today CCI France Russie is a major platform that brings together French business in Russia. Among its’ 400 corporate members there are 35 companies included in the CAC 40 index and hundreds of small and medium enterprises representing various industries. CCI France Russie is in the top five foreign French chambers of commerce and industry. It focuses on 3 key areas: building the business community, lobbying and supporting companies. The Franco-Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry regularly organizes business missions for companies to Russian regions, CIS countries and France. CCI France Russie is a nonprofit association which is financed by contributions of its members. It doesn’t receive any government subventions, is not subject to administrative supervision. Thus the chamber remains a legitimate, objective and independent voice of the Franco-Russian business community.
