TAWTEEN is aimed at localization to enhance resilience of the energy sector and reinforce Qatar’s position as a leading, reliable, and trustworthy energy supplier. The program will foster development of the sector’s local supply chain, and expand the small and medium enterprises base in Qatar. Tawteen is bringing to market more than 100 new investment opportunities and will consequently, add more than 5000 new white collar jobs to the sector. TAWTEEN will facilitate provision of infrastructure and create new policies, regulations and incentives to attract investors, local small & medium enterprises (SMEs), international companies, entrepreneurs and start-ups to establish or expand local operations.
