In 2014, Jim Taggart merged his passion for fast cars with his successful business background to found Taggart Autosport. His transition from entrepreneur to race driver started after the successful sale of his Cary, NC high-tech pharmacy left him with the time and the means to fuel his life-long obsession with speed. He quickly went from an amateur racer to a respected pro racking up countless wins and podium finishes. In fact, Jim has been recognized by SCCA and the Pirelli World Challenge — both honoring him with “Rookie of the Year” awards. Since 2013, Jim has competed professionally in the popular Pirelli World Challenge Championship and competed at a high level in many prestigious events such as the Rolex 24 Hours at Daytona. A natural entrepreneur, Jim Taggart quickly saw a promising opportunity to share his love of speed and high performance vehicles with others. The result — Taggart Autosport — was born in a modern, high-tech 20,000 square foot facility in beautiful Cary, NC to offer the most exceptional and pristine exotic and off-road extreme vehicles available.
