Roboteur is a RPA platform and development environment that makes it simple and inexpensive to automate processes At SpacePencil our thinking was that enabling RPA should be different from having to learn yet another programming language. However that contradicted with what we saw in the marketplace. We saw the need to ourselves build a far more modular building block system to address RPA needs, with minimal need to code and thus built Roboteur. Roboteur can be likened to a box of Lego where each block represents a prebuilt command that is only differentiated by the input and output variables giving each Lego block its unique colour, shape and purpose. Thus enabling you to build different processes by plugging the differently purposed blocks together, using the different colours to make each block unique, whilst keeping the integrity of the blocks original function. Our experience tells us that at a basic level, RPA is a process of making a computer do repetitive tasks, it requires expected inputs and outcomes, with clearly defined decision-making capabilities.
