* Initial interview to understand the financial position of the consumer. * Inform credit providers that a consumer applied for Debt Review. * Assess consumer's affordability and inform creditors of the decision. * Forward debt restructuring proposals to all consumer's creditors. * Negotiate with creditors to reach a solution that is satisfactory to the credit provider, the debt counsellor and the consumer. * Draft court application documents and set the matter down at the Magistrate's Court convenient to the consumer. * Provide monthly after-care service to ensure consumers pay their debts and the Payment Distribution Agency (PDA) distributes the payments to all credit providers.
