HELLENIC WATER ASSOCIATION (H.W.A) The Hellenic Water Association (HWA) is a non-profit association. It is the Greek Governing member of IWA (The international Water Association ). The Hellenic Water Association was founded in June 2012. Its principles are its non-political character and non-profit and voluntary operation. Furthermore, HWA aims to act as a think tank, support top-class research and provide high-quality service to society. The ideal core of the HWA lies in the application of the best available practices and contemporary methods by a skilled integration of several scientific, technical and management disciplines. The ultimate goal of the HWA is to assist in the environmental awareness of the society and contribute to its sustainable growth.
