The City of Greenfield is located in the Salinas Valley, 30 miles south of Salinas, CA. We are a small agricultural city, with a population of 17,500. Our community suppports the local agricultural industry, which include vineyards, row crops, processing plants, and equipment supply business. Our city is expanding with economic delvelopment opportunties. We are now part of the Salinas Valley Enterprise Zone which provides tax incentives to new business. We are currently contructing a new Civic Center and improving investing in our infrastructure, to include improving roads and improving public untilities.
