Family Futures is a not-for-profit, independent adoption agency providing assessment and treatment to children who have experienced trauma and their families. Rated Outstanding by Ofsted in 2018, our service was described as "a nationally recognised centre of excellence for therapeutic adoption and adoption support services" and is validated by our published research. Informed by the latest findings, we provide a multidisciplinary therapeutic treatment programme to address childhood trauma. This helps young people to change their view of themselves, the world and relationships resulting in improved outcomes. To support parents, carers and the professionals working with children, we offer an education and development programme, taught by trainers with specialist knowledge in child development. We also recruit prospective adopters and match them with hard-to-place children, aged three and above, who have been traumatised in their birth families.
