WHAT WE PRODUCE Phenomenology, Inc. creates meaningful partnerships in the entertainment industry to produce first-rate performing arts projects, by generating a long needed, first-of-its-kind corridor of professional activity for performing artists. Bringing high-value performing arts opportunities to Frederick, Maryland, and launching select projects from the City of Spires to New York City—and beyond—Phenomenology promotes high-potential local talent on the biggest stages—many of whom call, or have called, Frederick home. Phenomenology produces work across the performing arts—TV, film, theatre, dance, music, and more. OUR MISSION Established in 2018, Phenomenology, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, is an innovative production model in Frederick, Maryland, with a mission to create opportunities that enhance the public exposure of local professional artists and technicians by producing high value performing arts projects to showcase their gifts. These activities will help to enhance the cultural value of Frederick, Maryland and enable the organization to give back in additional ways, including advocacy for children and working families, by building links between the arts, education, and the social sciences. ABOUT OUR BOARD Phenomenology comprises a Board of Directors who bring together a range of leadership qualities across diverse professional discipline—finance, law, arts, science, grant writing, and more—coupled with consultative support from experts throughout the United States, including Broadway producers and lecturers from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
