DY Patil Stadium & Sports academy is a result of our Founder President, Dr. Vijay Patil’s ambitious dream project to create a sports academy and stadium rivaling the best in the world, with the aim to support the evolution of cricket as well as other sports – tennis, swimming, badminton, etc. in India. The dream has come to fruition – DYPSA has several world-class sporting facilities including a state-of-the-art stadium and swimming pool. DYPSA is dedicated to research, development, and education in a variety of sports, with the aim of creating a center of excellence that will put India on the global stage of competitive sport. That said, amateur sportspersons of all ages are welcome to be a part of our Sports Academy. In addition to the Academy, DYPSA owns two corporate cricket teams and one club cricket team. Every year, we conduct coaching camps for over 200 budding cricketers. DYPSA is a charitable trust registered under the Public Trust Act.
