In the course of my sporting career, I experienced many wonderful, unique and invaluable things, meeting inspiring people. When I was working towards winning my Olympic medals, going through a phase of sporting and personal development, many people passionate about sports aided and supported me. Pho3nxi Kids Triathlon by Nicola Spirig provides an opportunity to give something back and offer others my help. I am motivated to help as many children as possible to gain access to sports – especially triathlon – and to the pleasures of exercise. Pho3nix Kids Triathlon by Nicola Spirig, emphasising the Olympic motto "taking part is more important than winning" organises a number of kids´ races appropriate for children throughout Switzerland, where they can learn about sporting values in a playful manner. I find that sport is a good life school, helping to overcome everyday obstacles and to solve problems. In 2021, the Kids Cup by Nicola Spirig partnered with the Pho3nix Foundation to rebrand the events as the Pho3nix Kids Triathlon by Nicola Spirig as part of a global initiative to inspire and keep kids active
