Industrial Extension Bureau, popularly known as iNDEXTb is a Government of Gujarat Organisation established with the objective of accelerating the industrial development in the State. The Bureau acts as a single point contact for entrepreneurs for establishing industrial ventures. In order to cater varied needs of entrepreneurs, iNDEXTb has established separate cells like Investment Promotion Division, International Business Division, Project & Technology Division, IT Division etc. which are headed by senior officers. The Bureau acts as catalyst of Industries Department of the Government in propagating industrial promotional policies, attracting industrial investment, organising mega events, seminars, industrial fairs etc. iNDEXTb is an ISO 9001-2015 certified organisation. Computer Centre is a Division of iNDEXTb mainly concentrating on the computerization needs of Government Departments, State Corporations, Local Bodies and other organizations. The Centre has been empanelled as a Total Solution Provider (TSP) by Science & Technology Department, Government of Gujarat for IT/ITES solution project products and related services required by any Government Department/HODs/ Board/Corporation/ Society or any agency/entity of the State Government without open bidding procedure. The Centre provides a wide spectrum of computer services, which includes development of software packages, data processing, turnkey projects including feasibility study, identifying the areas of computerization, assessing hardware / software requirements, system design, development and implementation on the in-house computer facilities of the clients. Over the years the Centre has developed and implemented a number of software projects in various Departments/Organizations.
