Algalita Marine Research and Education conducts scientific research, as well as school education and community outreach programs. We are working to understand the scope and impact of plastic debris in the marine ecosystem, and to inform the public about the value and vulnerabilities of our oceans and how our individual actions influence the entire marine environment, and, ultimately, the health of our planet and ourselves.
