Construction Foundation of British Columbia
www.constructionfoundation.caWE ARE BUILDING THE NEXT GENERATION. Established in 2012, the Construction Foundation of BC is a registered Canadian charitable society. We build community through engagement in charitable initiatives and a commitment to industry focused education and research initiatives that benefit all British Columbians. Our official launch was celebrated with our first donation, given in the form of a $65,000 grant to Honour House, a 10-suite home which provides free temporary accommodation for current or former Canadian Forces personnel or first responders (and their families) when they must to travel to the Vancouver area for medical treatment. We then developed our first fundraising campaign under the education and training stream. Project Shop Class, was designed to assist BC’s secondary schools with new shop class equipment, thereby promoting the value of a construction career to young students. Working with the BCCA the initiative has raised and distributed over 3 million dollars across BC.
