Nimbus invests in companies that are at crossroads in their developments. Nimbus currently has approximately 25 companies under management, with sales between Euro 10 and 150 million each, in most European countries. For Nimbus it is important that companies we invest in have a healthy core activity and potential that can be realized through additional development, operational improvements and/or growth. We always have an active involvement in every company that we invest in. The objective is to actively assist in the change phase and when the company is in more stable position again, to act as a sounding board for management. To enable us to do so, we have a team of 20 managers with financial, operational or more general management skills. Nimbus has no fixed time horizon for its investments, our investments can be either long term or for a limited period, in which case our involvement covers on average a period of 5 to 7 years. We have ample experience with change management cases, such as the delisting of Geveke NV and the acquisition of the European division of Sophus Berendsen Hydraulics or the privatization of NOB.
