Organised Dental was established to improve the lives of dental professionals everywhere and to be a voice for positive change. These professionals are doing valuable work, but they face significant challenges. In today’s fast-paced, competitive world, many practices are struggling to thrive and too many individuals are struggling with work-related physical or mental health issues. Organised Dental actively works to address these challenges by developing strategies for practices that improve their operations and practical solutions for dental professionals that enhance their wellbeing. Spreading the message that there really is a better way is key, and the first step is to end the silent acceptance of work practices that are unhealthy, unsustainable and causing real harm to our dental professionals. The increasing awareness of the importance of wellbeing in all aspects of lives opens the way for a renaissance in the dental community where the focus of workplace issues can become much more people centred. I believe that the services delivered by our dental community are of enormous value and Organised Dental is my way of giving something back to a profession that has given me so much. I am currently doing that through my work as a coach, speaker and advocate for all dental personnel who want to better serve their patients while enjoying long and happy careers. Organised Dental is about promoting effective and sustainable ways to reduce stress and improve organisational wellness, productivity and morale because when that is achieved, not only is the dentist and the team healthier and happier but those positives flow through to valued patients. Everyone wins!
