PrognostiX specialises in the digitalisation of on-farm data. Established by partnering the expertise of computer scientists, hardware engineers and telecommunications specialists with veterinary surgeons and animal health professionals, we have developed a decision making platform that facilitates rapid and informed decisions to improve animal health and productivity. Whilst numerous organisations, academia and industry start to create consortia to develop the technology, PrognostiX is already at the deployment stage. We utilise smart technology that was originally designed for the Industrial Internet of Things and consumer based IoT applications. These developments have enabled PrognostiX to create solutions, which combines the advancement in communication and sensor technology, that are directly applicable to multi-species farm management. We develop multi-species animal and environmental sensor platforms to monitor and manage livestock, facilities and workforce for improved farm performance and productivity. Concentrating on utilising automated and wireless sensor driven technology, our systems capture and analyse data in real-time and combined with our expertise in animal health, we ensure the data is targeted to make practical management decisions. The PrognostiX solutions provide a rapid return on investment, have the flexibility to be tailored to individual farms and changeability to adapt to a farm’s requirements over time. Positioned at the forefront of agri-tech innovations, our systems aim to deliver a paperless exchange of information, signifying minimal manual data input for the farmer that also facilitates integration of other technologies such as block-chain for improved supply chain visibility. The Predict & Prevent Platform has been developed to be able to accept and integrate other solutions to provide a one stop visualisation, to enable the farmer to make informed, effective and productive business decisions.
