Linwood Rugby Club has a long history of developing top class rugby players. Tane Norton ,Ex All Black captain and NZ Rugby president is the Linwood Rugby President. Owen Franks is our current All Black and Richie Mo'unga is also in line to be an All Black in the near future. Linwood Rugby is always keen to host players from overseas to help with their development in a rugby rich environment. We have 2 full time staff ( Ex Maori All Blacks and 10 year professional rugby players) Adam Parker and Aaron Flynn to help with transition in NZ lifestyle. Adam Parker is the Rugby Manager is responsible for everything Rugby and Aaron Flynn is the Club Manager responsible for everything business related. The Linwood Rugby club has some great connections in the community and we are the 1st choice for all overseas sports teams as a training venue. In 2017 we hosted the All Blacks, British and Irish Lions and Australian Rugby teams along with the NZ Rugby league team. We also every week hosted the Canterbury M10 rugby team for 2 months. We are a destination for many overseas sports teams and put together great packages for sports teams including top quality accommodation and high performance gym and bus and van transportation.
