JAIMS (pronounced “James”) is an acronym for Japan-America Institute of Management Science. We help students develop their global mindset, intellectual intelligence, emotional intelligence, and phronetic leadership skills (i.e., leadership via “practical wisdom”) through academic and short-term programs. JAIMS develops knowledge leaders from all countries who will cross timelines and geographical boundaries to effectively build organizations, conduct business, and improve the communities around them. Fujitsu Limited, a leading provider of customer-focused IT and communications solutions for the global marketplace, established JAIMS in 1972 in the Honolulu suburb of Hawaii Kai. An administrative office in Tokyo provides recruiting support to JAIMS.
