REFASH

Reinventing what it means to buy and sell secondhand fashion, REFASH is Singapore's largest online and offline thrift store brand. Aloysius (Founder & CEO) started REFASH to make it convenient for women to clean out their closet and shop for quality secondhand clothes. He was inspired by his observation of his wife’s wardrobe situation, where only 30% of the clothes was being worn. Even though they are in excellent condition, these clothes were being discarded to make space for more shopping. Aloysius saw that as unnecessary wastage, which could led to negative impacts on the environment. Therefore, in order to discourage such disposable fashion culture, Aloysius decided to deliver a delightful, frictionless secondhand experience to both buyers and sellers and in turn, extend the life cycle of clothes. Founded in 2016 with a unique proposition: "Bring us your pre-loved clothes and we’ll do the rest”, REFASH offers a chance for women to extend the life cycle of their used clothes and sell them for cash at any REFASH store islandwide. With a mission to 'inspire the next generation of consumers to think secondhand first', REFASH has now expanded to 12 physical stores islandwide and counting, offering a frictionless thrifting experience for women. Thrifting at REFASH allows one to shop styles from popular local brands like Love Bonito, The Editors' Market, The Tinsel Rack to international brands such as Zara, Pomelo and H&M, at up to 90% OFF their retail prices.  REFASH has transformed what it means to buy and sell secondhand fashion, and hopes to ignite a new generation of women to "think like-new" for a more sustainable future. Till date, REFASH has processed over 2,500,000 pieces of clothing that would otherwise, have gone to the landfills.
