Balwant Foundation was established in the year 2014. Ever since the establishment it has been in the vanguard of addressing major concerns in the areas of societal development, woman empowerment, skill development, educational activities, disaster management, soil and water conservation, water management, waste management and sanitation, afforestation, organic farming, farmers welfare, preserving and encouraging Indian arts and craftsmanship. The foundation is professionally managed by the devoted people for holistic development of society. Balwant foundation believes in community participative work. At micro level we are facilitating the holistic approach for rural development to fulfill the wish of Nahatma Gandhi - “ India of my dream”. Currently, the foundation has outreach in Satara district of the Western region Maharashtra and aims to reach every district in Maharashtra by 2022. Stepping up these days, Balwant foundation is working at a macro level, and it functions as a training and helping centre for unending support to SHGs and development of youth and women in terms of sustainable livelihood. We are working hard to achieve ideal and long lasting impact on issues found in various sectors.
