Special Kids Special Needs was founded in August 2018. We realized that the available private Special Needs centres in Mombasa were all expensive and could not be afforded by the poor and middle-class communities. Hence, we decided to open a Special Needs Centre that is affordable and at the same time a comfortable and happy environment for the children. Apart from the rehabilitation that is open to children from all faiths, we also offer madrasa classes at a small fee in the afternoons for Muslim special needs children. This is open to all special needs children even those who are not in our centre during the day.
