Protect Native Elders

www.protectnativeelders.org

Native elders are our precious grandparents and parents. They are the holders of our cultural traditions and are deeply important to our community. They are also a resource of traditional knowledge and practices which demonstrate how to live properly in harmony with nature. During a crisis like COVID-19, all elders deserve proper support, but in this case, there is something vital to understand. Indigenous elders hold in their memory multi-generational wisdom and practices that are incredibly valuable in our collective journey to reverse climate change. This is why we're dedicated to providing them with the personal protective equipment they need to stay safe and healthy. We are a native-founded, native-led organization staffed by volunteers. We rely on native principles and values to do our work, and we believe in transparency.
