Having historically been a hub for meetings, discussions and socialising, Monte Verità boasts years of experience in running seminars and medium-sized residential conferences (up to 120 guests). Since 1989, it has housed the center "Congressi Stefano Franscini" (ETH Zurich), which in turn draws thousands of top researchers from all over the world to Monte Verità every year. The Monte Verità conference centre has a campus-like structure, comprising a hotel, conference halls, restaurant and park. All of this is imbued with the fascinating legacy of a significant chapter in European 20th century cultural history, that of the Monte Verità vegetarian colony.
