Since then, RotorWorks has flown over 300,000 miles of transmission lines and has evolved as a leader in the GIS community providing real time digital information and solutions to power companies across America. In addition, RotorWorks has developed other aerial applications and services for engineering and mapping firms as well as D.O.T.s and the Corp of Engineers around the country. RotorWorks owns and operates all of its surveying and mapping equipment including an MD 600N and a Bell Long Ranger L-3. RotorWorks provides line patrol surveys, infrared inspections, geo-referenced digital video capturing and LiDAR acquisition and data processing services. Moving forward, RotorWorks will continue to expand its operational footprint bringing quality GIS services and solutions coupled with cutting edge technology to new markets. In addition to pilots and sensor operators, RotorWorks employs geospatial data analysts to process and develop actionable asset condition reports and GIS deliverables to their clients’ requirements.
