Wow.  What does that mean???  It means that, for many of us, moving into retirement is a highly ambiguous process.  Sure, there are LOTS of resources on the financial aspect of retirement.  But there is not much out there on actually making this phase our lives, well...WORK! Until now: MAKE RETIREMENT...WORK! focuses on the non-financial aspects of one of life's greatest, most complex, and potentially rewarding transitions. Explore the broad range of options available and how to successfully pursue those options to suit your interests, schedule, and the way of life you have envisioned for these years.  Andy and Rick, the company founders, met at Rutgers University connecting right away since they are both "Boomers" and began talking about retirement.  Both were in career management, Rick worked with undergraduates and Andy with graduate students. They realized that they have more than 80 years of combined experience in helping people--from brand new graduates to seasoned senior executives--make successful transitions to new and exciting opportunities. This movement to retirement is a similar transition.  So, while they were researching the concept of "retirement" they thought, why not share their insights with others and have been lecturing to groups of alumni from a number of universities. In 2019 Rick and Andy published, Make Retirement…Work!, putting down in words what they have been experiencing and investigating. It provides a guide to the soon to be or recent retiree to help them through one of life’s greatest, most complex and potentially most rewarding transitions.
