Vallekilde Højskole was founded in 1865 in the Danish tradition of folk high schools. The school presents 8 major subjects: journalism, documentary, writer's room, game academy, event, design, maker, and leadership. The teachers are experienced and experts in each of their fields. Through personal networks they create challenging projects and invite interesting people to share their perspectives. A stay at Vallekilde Højskole is therefore also an encounter with interesting guest teachers.
