TALENT4CHANGE, is a movement to re-unite "The Village!" A 501(c3) nonprofit organization dedicated to inspiring, uniting, and empowering children and families; and in turn our communities. We do this by collaborating with those willing to utilize their best "talent for change"; and allow us to help them develop their passion into an initiative that will provide others with avenues for positive development. Our current initiatives are: CHEF and KIDS (Garden and Culinary), ELEVATED POETRY (Creative Arts), BARBERS4CHANGE (Hairstyling), EntreKidz (Entrepreneurship), and many other programs designed to help others become more confident, resourceful, and self-sufficient. All while influencing those involved to be more kind, compassionate, understanding and patient. *CHEF and KIDS, a farm-to-table garden and culinary program focused on mentoring our kids while teaching them everything from how to grow their own food to how to cook it. Poets recite poetry to guests in elevators meant to inspire, move and enlighten them as they elevate to their next destination. Kids involved are taught how to write and recite poetry and then guided and prepared for their elevator audience also developing their elevator pitch approach.
