World Refugee Care is a donor-supported, global ministry which exists to be a beacon of compassion to people who’ve been torn from their homes because of war, famine, persecution, or poverty. There are more than 70 directives throughout God's Word about how His people are to treat aliens, strangers, and refugees. Yet so often, these directives go largely ignored because of fear, ignorance, or downright apathy. Jesus had great passion for refugees—partly because He became one when He fled His homeland with His family for fear of being killed (Matthew 2:13-15). Our goal is to emulate His heart for these broken and hurting families by demonstrating His love and sharing His grace to those who are desperate for it.
