The Berkeley Foundation was set up by the Berkeley Group in March 2011. Now seven years old, we have committed more than £13 million to our charitable partners, £.4.4 million of which has been raised by Berkeley Group staff. We support young people, their families and communities across London and the South of England. We do this by working in partnership with the voluntary sector, and focus on four areas: Homes: helping people to access and sustain good quality housing Jobs: reducing barriers to work Skills: developing young people’s talent Care: opportunity regardless of illness or disability. The Berkeley Group provides ‘core’ funding for the Foundation, pays all of our overheads, and covers the cost of specific fundraising events. On top of this, Berkeley staff do an incredible job of raising money through fundraising events and Give As You Earn. Berkeley matches everything they raise, pound for pound.
