TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. Our event is called TEDxHarboursidePark, where x = independently organized TED event, and we operate independently under license from TED. To many of us, ‘harbour’ means welcome, shelter, and safety. Home. While they’re defined spaces physically, they’re open to broad horizons, becoming supercharged channels for innovation, technology, culture, industry, and politics. Communities are built and grow around harbours - those communities are literal and metaphoric tides of people and their ideas. These are the foundations upon which we introduce our new event, and we hope you'll come with us.
