The BOMA Memphis mission is to educate, promote, and advocate the interests of the Memphis commercial real estate industry. Our members have participated in the successful implementation of sprinkler laws, smoking restrictions in public buildings, and ADA compliance for barrier free access. Our Energy Alliance provides outstanding programs in natural gas and electrical energy conservation. Our members participate actively with BOMA International in the development of the international model codes for energy conservation, indoor air quality, elevator safety, and other health and life safety issues. BOMA's method of square footage floor measurement is the standard for the commercial property industry. BOMA International produces the annual Experience Exchange Report survey of operating expenses, which sets the benchmarking standard for the industry.
