MATFEM We can support you in using numerical simulation to advantage in your business. For this purpose, we have established the business units of FEM Services, SoftMat and CommonLab at MATFEM. FEM Services: We simulate production processes and in-service loads of components with a strong focus on reliable interpretation of results with regard to material behaviour. Our focus is mainly on method development. SoftMat: This business unit develops software for material modeling and material data processing. Our main software product is MF GenYld+CrachFEM. This is a modular material model for an improved simulation of metals, polymers and composites. The material model is compatible to all commercial explicit-dynamic FEA codes. MF GenYld+CrachFEM is used by 45 customers worldwide. MFview is an add-on software tool for visualization of material cards. Furthermore we develop programs for mapping and initialization of properties resulting from the manufacturing process. Common Lab: We offer the experimental and theoretical characterization of metals, polymers and composites for FEA. The experimental data are obtained via collaboration with a network of specialized partner laboratories which we select according to your needs. The coordination of the material tests and the derivation of the FEM material card is done by MATFEM. You have one contact for the full range of testing methods. You just ship your material and you receive the final FEM material card. FEM Services, SoftMat and CommonLab complete an integrated solution for virtual development.
