Lebanese Down Syndrome Association serves to build an inclusive environment in education, recreation, employment, social and family life: ● Promoting positive public awareness by stimulating public interest and engaging them in projects, activities, and rallies towards inclusion. ● Promoting the development of inclusive and quality adult education opportunities to foster self-determination through literacy, academic education, technical, and vocational training. ● Encouraging and supporting employment opportunities in inclusive settings through appropriate guidance, job placement, on-the-job training and coaching, and other employment support services. ● Lobbying for legislative procedures to work towards the full inclusion of children with special needs and guarantee their civil and human rights.
