CAN Safety Training & Consulting
www.cansafetytraining.caCAN Safety Training and Consulting began in 2013 by Chris Nisbett. Chris started his career in 1998, operating and repairing highway transport equipment. Always having a passion for repair, he worked towards his journeyperson in automotive repair alongside his journeyperson in Truck and Transport. A skilled tradesperson, there is not a tool or piece of equipment Chris would not use. It was in both of these repair industries that he began teaching people how to operate equipment. The fit was natural, having the ability to repair, maintain and operate most pieces of powered mobile equipment. In 2008, Chris switched careers to training adults in powered mobile equipment operation, and safety training. Soon after earning a certificate in adult education from the University of Regina. With each year upgrading or learning new skills and accreditation from major companies like DBI Sala, ITI Training, and IVES. Chris is a gifted instructor with the ability to describe subjects in many ways in order to make sure it is understood. Treating everyone with respect and being humble to be able to help. “My family is my top priority, and I reflect that in my training, I want to make sure everyone understands the need to work safe at work and at home.” CAN Safety Training and Consulting is fully committed to training for success, not just necessity. Training is a legislated requirement, often repetitive. CAN Safety will make the experience enjoyable by keeping the subject light but informative. You will have a great day with a focus on learning at the same time. You can be assured of honest, informative communication, with diligence to ensure the legislation and regulations are met. CAN Safety Training & Consulting wants to ensure that successful training comes with a commitment to the legislation and regulations within Saskatchewan.
