Livonia Symphony Orchestra, non-profit, founded in 1973 by Francesco Di Blasi. Current conductor/Music Director is Volodymyr Shesiuk. Approximately 65 musicians and run by a volunteer board of directors (approximately 30) Performs 5 major concerts per year including a benefit concert and a free city sponsored concert in the summer. There are openings on the board. Looking for active persons with a love of music and the desire to work to promote the symphony in Livonia and neighboring communities.
