League School of Greater Boston

www.leagueschool.com

Founded in 1966, the League School of Greater Boston has been a leading educator of children and young adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder for more than 50 years. The League School has done so by maintaining a steadfast commitment to one mission: to help students with Autism develop to their fullest potential in every aspect of their lives; social, emotional, academic, and behavioral. The League School is the first private school in Massachusetts and one of only a few in New England to adopt the SCERTS model. With the SCERTS model, we support persons with Autism by helping them to achieve "Authentic Progress" which is defined as the ability to learn and spontaneously apply functional and relevant skills in a variety of settings and with a variety of partners. By observing students at different times and in different settings, we are capable of a broader understanding of behaviors and can establish more precise goals and objectives. The League School provides students with Autism high quality day and residential services in a modern, well maintained facility on 12 acres in Walpole Massachusetts.
