Shift Geothermal is a non-profit organisation of respected academics and energy sector specialists seeking to establish a new UK centre for geo-energy to realise the huge potential of this new energy source. It aims to carry out, coordinate, and promote research into geo-energy generation from existing hydrocarbon production and storage sites, identifying and progressing at scale developments, repurposing, and reusing existing offshore infrastructure.
